There’s a very good chance that, like everyone else, you have a linen closet crammed full of sheets and towels. Also, like everyone else, you use very few of them.
There are probably a few sheets with holes, or that only fit a bed you don’t own any more. There are blankets with the same problems.
There are towels that are stained or see-through. If you’re not going to use them, why are they in the closet?
If you’re saving them for rags, check the current rag supply. Throw out the worst and replace them. Take some to the garage for washing the car. Donate the rest to your local animal shelter. They will make good use of all those things, and your linen closet will be streamlined.
